Mentorship Lecture (Rescheduled) – Prof. Francesco Iachello, “A life for science: from Italy to USA”

You are cordially invited to a mentorship talk held by Professor Francesco Iachello, J.W. Gibbs Professor, at Yale University. The talk will take place on Tuesday February 25th 5pm, in Harkness Hall- Room WLH119, 100 Wall st.

Prof Iachello is a leader in the field of symmetries in physics and provided a fundamental contribution to the theory of the atomic nucleus. He moved to Yale University at the end of the 70’s.

Based on his brilliant career, Iachello will give some thoughts on his personal experience as foreigner scientist in the United States. Both foreign audience working in the US and Ameircans native will benefit from the talk.

The mentorship lecture is organized with the support of OISS, McDougal Graduate Student Center and ISSNAF.
