“L’Autodafè del Camminante” (in Memoria di Arturo Giovannitti)

Hi Guys,
we’re planning to host the show “L’Autodafè del Camminante” (in Memoria di Arturo Giovannitti) at the end of November ’12.

We need about 3 more people to help us in the organization of the event. If you want to contribute come to HGS (320 york st.) on Thursday 08/30 at 7pm, which is our first meeting to set-up the event organization.

Giovannitti was an immigrant from Molise at the beginning of the XX century, leader of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and head of Bread and Roses Strike in  Lawrence (Massachusetts, 1912)

The show will be presented by a group of actors from Molise “La compagnia del loto”

  1. Friends: just came across your Giovannitti event (too late). I have been researching the IWW in Connecticut, including Arturo and his comrade Joe Ettor. Let me know if you would like any of this info.
